Y Mind Youth Program

Helping youth learn to cope with stress and anxiety.

Are you experiencing mild-to-moderate anxiety or stress? Join the YMCA's Y Mind Youth program. It is a FREE seven-week mental wellness program for people ages 13 to 18 (teen) and 18 to 30 (youth), delivered by the YMCA of Three Rivers and our community partners.


Y Mind Teen (Ages 13 – 18)

Our free Y Mind Teen Program offers support to teens ages 13 to 18, for those who are experiencing mild to moderate anxiety or stress. Y Mind participants learn evidence-based coping skills based on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness, and self-compassion, and connect with peers who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings.


Program and Registration Details:


  • Free seven-week program for those experiencing mild-to-moderate stress and anxiety.

  • Learn proven coping skills and meet peers who are experiencing similar thoughts and feelings.

  • Each session is 1.5 hours long and is offered one evening a week, for seven weeks.

  • Participants must be available to attend all seven sessions.

  • Attendance at one information session or zoom call with a staff member is required to sign up.
