Children's Skill-Based Programs
Ages 6 – 12
Looking for a fun way to stay active and learn new skills? Skill-based programs allow children to build on their learning each week to feel a sense of accomplishment as they grow and develop.
Skill-based programs are included in a Youth YMCA membership and require registration.
Participants only need to register once and will attend at the same day and time each week. Each child can register for one skill-based program at a time.

YMCA Basketball (Ages 6 – 12)
YMCA basketball programs promote healthy active living, develop skills, build self-esteem and foster a sense of belonging. Through developmentally appropriate programming children build character while staying active, having fun and making friends. Children's achievements are recognized with their families and peers through special events. YMCA basketball nurtures the potential of our kids by emphasizing fun, sportsmanship, communication, persistence, and teamwork while improving individual skills of the game.

YMCA Soccer (Ages 6 – 12)
Pass, shoot, and score. Children will learn soccer basics at the YMCA with age specific skills, drills, and game play with instruction and supervision from our staff. This program offers a safe and productive environment for children to learn the fundamentals of soccer as well as the importance of teamwork in a fun, non-competitive and skill-based setting. Come and build a life-long love of soccer at the YMCA of Three Rivers.

Children's Strength Academy (Ages 10 – 12)
Children's Strength Academy is a recreational program designed to help children ages 10 to 12 increase their strength, endurance, and flexibility, while also providing an opportunity to make new friends and have fun. The program focuses on developing healthy habits and building fundamental skills to set participants up for a lifetime love of fitness. All fitness levels and experience are welcome.
