What is the Youth Leadership Council?
The Youth Leadership Council (YLC) is a group of young leaders, ages 16–24, who work alongside YMCA staff and leadership to share ideas, provide feedback, and help guide programs and initiatives that impact young people across our communities.
Council members don't just participate they influence decisions, champion new ideas, and help ensure youth perspectives are represented throughout the organization. Through collaboration, mentorship, and leadership development, members gain valuable experience while making a meaningful impact.
